Welcome to Mariners Moon—your postcard-perfect escape by the marsh. Behind the sky-blue door of this white weatherboarded cottage lies a warm, characterful interior with a nod to traditional seaside charm.
Step into the light-filled dining room, where a table for six and a bookshelf full of holiday reads set the tone for laid-back meals and lazy afternoons. Across the hall, sink into comfy seating in the spacious lounge, complete with a Smart TV and Amazon Fire Stick for cosy nights in. Throw open the French doors and let the outside in—your private patio backs directly onto the wild and wonderful Romney Marsh.
In the kitchen, there’s room for more than one chef, plus modern appliances, crisp white cabinetry, and a breakfast nook made for that first Nespresso of the day. Another set of French doors leads straight to the garden, where nature quite literally puts on a show—watch marsh harriers glide, and spot barn owls at dusk.

Head upstairs at Mariners Moon and you’ll find four thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each with its own welcoming charm.
The master bedroom is spacious and serene, featuring a sumptuous king-size bed, built-in wardrobes, and a stylish ensuite shower room. It’s the perfect retreat after a day exploring the dunes.
The second bedroom offers a calm and cosy space, with a comfy double bed and a front-facing view that catches the morning light.
For younger guests, the third bedroom is a firm favourite. Overlooking the marsh, it features bunk beds and a single bed—ideal for siblings, cousins, or a sleepover-style stay with a view.
Finally, the fourth bedroom is a peaceful single at the front of the house, perfect for quiet moments with a book or a good night’s rest.

There’s private parking for one car on the drive, with additional free street parking nearby—so everyone can come along for the adventure.

Mariners Moon is thoughtfully kitted out with baby-friendly essentials including a high chair, stair gate, and travel cot—helping lighten the load so you can focus on making memories (and maybe even sneak in a bit of relaxation too!).

With the beach just minutes from your door, scenic walks all around, and even welcoming local pubs where you can both unwind after a day of dune-hopping, it’s a seaside escape the whole pack will enjoy.

Good food makes for unforgettable holidays—and here, you’re in for a treat. Whether it’s tucking into freshly battered fish and chips by the sea or dining on farm-to-table fare in a cosy pub with a roaring fire, Camber and Rye serve up flavour with a generous side of charm.
With the sea on one side and farmland on the other, it’s no surprise that the local menus are bursting with the best ingredients from just down the road. Romney Marsh Lamb, Rye Bay Scallops, Dover sole, and traditional English favourites grace the tables of our favourite eateries—often paired with award-winning English sparkling wine.
Prefer your own kitchen creations? Then you’ll love browsing the colourful local farmers markets and delis. Pick up a basket of fresh produce, artisan goodies and just-landed seafood, then head back to Mariners Moon and play chef in the well-equipped kitchen. Bon appétit!
