Welcome to the Rye Arts Festival, the wonderful light and its microclimate have made Rye a haven for artists and writers, the perfect backdrop for a festival of the arts!
The Rye Arts Festival is a 2-week event full of Literary Events, Classical & Contemporary Music, Walks, Tours, and Theatre
There will be a fantastic programme of classical and contemporary music, literary events, theatre, guided walks, comedy and special events. This year’s Rye Arts Festival features international stars such as jazz musician Courtenay Pine and the Zemlinsky String Quartet; famous authors, including John Julius Norwich; and, representing a new generation of emerging talent Euphonia Works, who are performing, fully-staged, Mozart’s Cos fan tutte; plus, for the first time, two lunchtime classical music concerts. Throw into the mix the ever-popular Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain and The London Adventist Chorale, one of the UK’s top gospel choirs, plus much, much more and we can look forward to one of the most exciting Rye Arts Festivals!
