May 2026 perfect mini break, just 2 hours from London We loved the Ocean Breeze property, our two dogs lay in the garden after wonderful beach walks. We found it so peaceful and a lovely break from busy London life. The weather was perfect. Everything we needed was there. The information provided was so helpful - we got a virtual guidebook with everything we needed to know, super clear check-in and check-out instructions, and always a friendly response when we needed anything. We had a wonderful stay at Seaglass in Camber Sands. The property is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach and only a few minutes’ drive from the town of Rye. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. It really felt like a home away from home, with thoughtful touches throughout and a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. We particularly loved being so close to the beach for morning and evening walks, while still having easy access to Rye’s shops, restaurants, and attractions. We stayed at Dunes Hill Cottage for a long weekend, two adults and two small kids. It was perfect! The house has everything you need, it’s amazingly clean and comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay. And it was very handy to have all baby stuff there too - stair gate, high chair, bed railing, non-slip bath mat. The beach is only a few mins away you are up for climbing up the dunes, or about 5-10 mins walk to Camber Central with flat access. We stayed for a bank holiday weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the convenient location of Rye Bay House for the beach and proximity to Rye. The house felt spacious for us (6 adults, 1 toddler and a baby) and we appreciated the attention to detail (well equipped kitchen, travel cot, lovely fresh towels, helpful information) and the outside space. We would recommend Rye Bay House for a relaxing stay.
