From the booking process, to the digital welcome pack, we felt incredibly welcome. The cottage itself is beautiful and brilliantly located - 2 minutes walk from the beach. It had a lovely sized garden, parking out front and the added bonus that we ordered a Sainsbury's delivery, which knew where we were and turned up promptly, meant we didn't have to take extra stuff with us. The owners emailed the next morning to ensure everything was well with our stay. They were a delight to speak to. Such a beautiful space and design. Close to beach and pubs. Quiet and relaxing. Amazing communication from the start and amazing place to stay. They where so accommodating. We where with small kids and an older person in a wheelchair and this was such a perfect location and house for us! We’ve booked Ocean Beach through Beside the Sea holidays for the last few years and other cottages also. Every property has been really well maintained and has everything you could need. If you have a dog this is the perfect spot for them too. The beach is a five minute walk away and Rye is just up the road - loads of great places to eat and visit too. Great info on website and everything you need in for stay was there. We loved it. We loved staying at the Owlers - it had everything you could need for a lovely beach getaway. There is a nice patio area for morning coffee or afternoon bbqs and you are walking distance from the beach. We didn’t want to leave - we will be back! Gorgeous unusual property with spacious bedrooms, and pretty decked garden. Well equipped, a short drive to Camber, and an even shorter walk to the beach. Bleak but beautiful location. The garden was fully enclosed for our dogs, parking was just at the back of the home and had direct access to the garden, which was perfect with the dogs. A short walk to the lovely beach which the dogs loved. They also loved sitting at the cafe on the beach. Thank you for letting us stay at here. Judy, Andy, Zeus and Xena. X

Just 3 miles from Rye in East Sussex, one of the historic Cinque Ports coastal towns, you will find the small village of Camber. Camber Sands beach is the undisputed jewel in Camber’s crown. It stretches for miles along the coast and is so beautiful, it’s even been a location for a number of film shoots.
Rye is one of the prettiest towns in England, complete with cobbled streets, fabulous gastro pubs and a fantastic farmers’ market selling local produce and freshly caught fish and seafood.
