The place was lovely, very welcoming, and they had thought of everything. The beds were very comfortable, a large selection of kitchen equipment, and a good, safe garden for the dogs. The weather was spring-like, so a fresh walk along the beach was good for the soul. It's so good to get out of London for a day. The log burner in the shack was a novelty, and we loved it. The bed was so comfortable. The place was spotless, and everything we needed was there. Wish we had been able to stay two nights. Excellent cottage with all of the facilities required for a great holiday. A modern property which is extremely convenient for Camber Sands beach. Miles of beach walks in all directions. ‘The Owl’ is a great pub within two minutes walk. Explored and visited many houses/castles in East Sussex and Kent so the cottage is an ideal base. A really attractive modern cottage in a great location, a short walk from beautiful Camber Sands. The cottage is decorated tastefully and is very well presented. The kitchen is well equipped and the biscuits and lovely lemon cake were very welcome. The garden was attractive and has a bbq and fire pit. There is a small games room with will keep younger (and not so young) people amused. The bedrooms were also beautifully presented and comfortable. A group of 6 of us stayed in the Light House and we had a lovely weekend! Even though we only stayed 2 nights it was a super comfortable and cleanly stay; the owners also very kindly left us with some treats. It was literal minutes drive from the beautiful Camber Sands beach and less than 10 minutes drive to Rye which is super charming. Delightful beautifully clean holiday home with great bed linens and towels. The setting was ideal and we loved being there so much we hope to return !

Camber & Rye
Just 3 miles from Rye in East Sussex, one of the historic Cinque Ports coastal towns, you will find the small village of Camber. Camber Sands beach is the undisputed jewel in Camber’s crown. It stretches for miles along the coast and is so beautiful, it’s even been a location for a number of film shoots.
Rye is one of the prettiest towns in England, complete with cobbled streets, fabulous gastro pubs and a fantastic farmers’ market selling local produce and freshly caught fish and seafood. Take your time to explore the historic sites, magnificent castled, stories and legends of this fascinating part of England from your handpicked Camber Sands accommodation.
